East along Pangalanes channel

Description

On the east coast of the island, the Pangalanes channel is a very attractive tour for those who like to have a little quietness by its calm and serene boat crossing along the 2 artificial channels the lake Rasoabe and the lake Ampitabe, traveled by the Piroguiers of the village and some boats that disturb the water channels.

The edge of the channel is bordered by mangroves and lush vegetation.
The Ampitabe canal joins Akanin ‘Ny Nofy, a small dream of conviviality where one can discover the forest of the East in its primitive states thanks to the abundance of rain and some species of lemurs evolving in full freedom and being close to the tourists peacefully. The flora is not to be outdone you can find some species of orchids, carnivorous plants, traveler trees and palm trees like the Orania and the dypsis.

East wildlife nature in Maroantsetra

Description

Maroantsetra is the rainiest town on the island, which favors the dense and luxuriant vegetation of this region. The flora and fauna are very rich to discover only the Park Masoala which is the largest of the National Parks of Madagascar and Nosy Mangabe which shelters a special reserve of more than 500 ha.
